Week 36: FMP_Project exercises & Asset construction

This week we conducted project exercises, this project room exercise. This is completed by placing materials on the ground and some tree assets. The key point is to practice the mixing of ground materials, because this is the only ground that I have to make myself. At the same time, the production of fog was carried out. When setting up the Wifeless Room, due to the difference in the ue5 version, I encountered a situation where the fog plug-in could not be used. In the end, I replaced the fog blueprint with a moving item. Then use the simplest ambient fog to reduce the visibility of the shot.

I looked for suitable assets on the epic store because I wanted to focus more on the lens language, lens animation and overall structure. So I’m not going to make my own 3D model after I put it on the epic mall. I found a set of architectural assets from the medieval battlefield and scene assets from the Middle East market. I am going to combine these two sets of assets to create my castle interior and battlefield scenes.
